The objective of the internship/externship program at Waterford Pet Hospital is to provide students with hands-on clinical experience that enhances their understanding of veterinary practices. Through direct involvement in day-to-day operations, students will develop essential skills in animal care, client communication, and medical procedures all while being under direct supervision of a veterinarian and/or Registered Veterinary Technician . The program aims to foster a sense of responsibility and professionalism by immersing students in a real-world veterinary environment, preparing them for successful careers in the field.
